We Choose Us:
A Movement for Multiracial Democracy in Minnesota
People across Minnesota are waking up every day ready to go to work to build a better future for all of us, a future where every vote is counted, every voice is heard and every person has the resources they need to thrive. Yet, a handful of politicians, their wealthy donors and some powerful corporations fan the flames of division in order to profit off our struggles and undermine our ability to act together. But there is one thing we have that they don’t: each other. That’s why we’re committed to building the multiracial democracy Minnesotans deserve. That’s why we choose us.
After talking to people across Minnesota about democracy and the changes they want to see in their communities, we developed our Expanding Democracy Agenda. Through our collective effort, we were able to win many of these policies during the 2023 legislative session. But we’re not done yet!
